The Standards for NVR RTO's first program completed with success
With the participation of representatives of more than 50 RTO's, ASTDI started a new cycle of Forum-Workshops. At this event, the topic was the Standards for NVR RTOs and the impact on business planning and operations. The aim of the event was to discuss of the importance to focus on Quality, and the understandong of Compliance as a concequence of Quality and the understanding of compliance as a consequence of quality and not as a goal in itself.



Successful presentation of ASTDI

ASTDI was officially launched on Friday 24th June, at the NSW Teachers Conference Centre in Sydney. During a breakfast-forum called: "VET Going National: What is changing?" Marie Persson (Skills Australia Board Member), Dianne Orr (ASQA Head of Regulatory Strategic Team), Greg Askew (ASTDI Vice-President) and Javier Amaro (ASTDI President), discussed current challenges and opportunities for the VET sector, and the new national scope of ASQA.
